Epicrolla Review & Gameplay Guide
I just spent the last 20 hours playing Epicrolla and I'm still trying to process my thoughts on it. I mean, where do I even start? I'd seen some trailers and gameplay videos before diving in, but nothing could've prepared me for the sheer chaos that is this game. You play as a character who's trying to navigate this insane world filled with rolling balls, crazy obstacles, and intense boss fights. The concept sounds simple, but trust me, it's a lot harder than it looks.
At first, I was really frustrated with the controls. They felt super sensitive and it took me a while to get used to them. I died like 20 times in the first 10 minutes, which was pretty demoralizing. But once I got the hang of it, I started to enjoy the challenge. The game requires you to time your rolls perfectly, which can be really satisfying when you pull it off. The levels are also really well-designed, with some crazy twists and turns that'll keep you on your toes. I loved the sense of progression as I unlocked new characters and abilities, it really added to the game's replay value.
One thing that really impressed me was the graphics and sound design. The game looks stunning, with these vibrant colors and detailed environments that really draw you in. The soundtrack is also crazy good, with this pumping electronic music that matches the game's intense pace perfectly. I found myself getting totally immersed in the game's world, which is always a sign of a good game in my book. My only gripe is that the game can be a bit too loud at times, I had to turn down the volume a few times to avoid blowing my eardrums.
As I progressed through the game, I started to notice some issues with the difficulty curve. Some levels felt way too easy, while others were ridiculously hard. I'm not sure if it's just me, but I felt like I was getting thrown into these super tough levels without any warning. It was a bit frustrating, but at the same time, it made the sense of accomplishment even sweeter when I finally beat them. I also encountered some minor bugs, like the game freezing up on me or my character getting stuck in a wall. Nothing game-breaking, but it was a bit annoying.
Despite some of its flaws, I'd definitely recommend Epicrolla to fans of action games or anyone looking for a challenge. It's not for the faint of heart, but if you're up for it, you'll be rewarded with a really fun and intense gaming experience. I'm not sure how much replay value it has, but I'm already looking forward to trying out the game's multiplayer mode with my friends. We'll see how that goes, but for now, I'm just gonna keep on rolling.
Overall, Epicrolla is a solid game that's definitely worth checking out. It's not perfect, but its unique blend of action and strategy makes it stand out from the crowd. With a bit more polish and some tweaks to the difficulty curve, this game could've been truly amazing. As it stands, it's still a really fun and challenging game that'll keep you on the edge of your seat. So if you're looking for something new to play, give Epicrolla a shot โ just be prepared to die a lot.
